Roasted Chickpeas

I wish I could remember where I came across the inspiration for this recipe, but it’s escaping me. The kiddos and I love hummus, and I’m always looking for healthy, easy to eat snacks we’ll all enjoy. Then I found roasted chickpeas. Little Man loves them so much, I swear he poops hummus when I make them!

Rinse a drain a can of chickpeas, and put them in a big bowl. Decide if you want sweet or savory that day.

For sweet, drizzle with a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup, then add your favorite spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, whatever you want. Stir to combine.

For savory, drizzle olive oil then add your spices, basil, oregano, your favorite pre-mix ranch, anything you choose. Stir to combine.

In a single layer on a cookie sheet, bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes until the outsides get crunchy. Let them cool and enjoy!
